Andre Instruments' order book is currently full. However, you can contact me below to reserve a build-slot for 2024 or 2025.
Respecting the one-off character of your guitar order, a quote will set its price according to the following information:

The average pricing by type of guitar is provided to you on this page, i.e. from Group 1 to Group 5. Requesting a quote is particularly useful when your order merges two types of guitars.

Quotes are produced within 24 hours. Quotes and prices displayed on this page are in US currency.
Guitars are paid for in 4 progressive payments:

25% to place your order. This is a non-refundable down payment that also serves as a consultation fee. You are now on my build list.

25% when the construction of your guitar begins and its journey is documented for you on a private page.

25% when the finishing stage of your guitar begins. Whether you asked for a color or not...This is when your guitar comes to life!

25% final balance for delivery (+ shipping costs) is due when your guitar is complete, before it leaves my workshop in St-Jean-Port-Joli Qc, Canada. You are alternatively welcome to pick it up at my workshop.
Build Options.
Some clients give me carte blanche, others are more specific. Here are some of the options you can choose from when ordering a guitar from me:

Scale length, neck width, bridge spacing, string gauge, special requests.

Body responsiveness degree (to avoid feedback, when applicable).

Overall feel and aesthetics (classic, under stated or bold design). Any color.

Nitrocellulose high-gloss laquer, or, Satin (Parker) epoxy and oil responsive finish.

Body size/shape.
-
Body woods. Top wood. Appointments & Inlay materials.

Cutaway (Slant, faceted, traditional) or none.

Pickups, & Hardware (when applicable), Tuning machines. Truss-rod material (steel, titanium).

Carbon fibre or titanium neck reinforcements.

Neck profile as requested or standard.
Flight-case is included for every instrument that requires it (as listed below).
Minimally, a Premium quality hardshell case (or gig-bag) is standard with every purchase.

Group 1: Acoustic research guitars.
Multi-string guitars, round-body guitars, extended-body and/or hand-carved acoustic guitars.
All 3D oriented, highly expressif, and complex to make instruments.
Cutaway option, neck wings supports, art factor, personal pickup selection, special requests, and custom flight-case are all included.
Average price: 4 payments of $5250
Group 2 : Archtops.
Arched-top guitars or Bass guitars, hand-carved, with neck wings support.
Choice of f-holes or sound hole/ sound-port design. Pickup, color options, and hardshell case are all included.
Average price: 4 payments of $4500
Group 3 : Flat-tops.
Flat-top Acoustic guitar or Bass guitar, with neck-wings supports.
Choice of sound hole/sound port configuration. Pickup options, cutaway option, and custom hardshell case are all included.
Average price: 4 payments of $3375
Electric instruments
Group 4 : Hollow-bodies.
Hollow-body Electric guitar or Bass guitar, carved-top and back responsive construction.
Choice of pickups and specs. Finish options and custom hardshell case are all included.
Average price: 4 payments of $2800
Group 5 : Solid-bodies:
Solid-body Electric guitars or basses, carved-top included, except for JM7's multi-layer construction.
Choice of pickups, hardware.. Finish options, custom hardshell case or high-quality gig-bag are all included.
