Po is taken from -Peau- in french, meaning -skin-. Its body is an epoxy and goatskin composite, which shape led to the making of a full-wooden bowl-back soundbox with Oudtar in 2011.

-PO is a full-blown Étude piece: I was asked for a short scaled, shallow-body  instrument facing the rib-cage of the player, while having a deep-body behind, towards its tail.

The bone layered fingerboard is of 2 tone, and marks the player's major thirds tuning for this 7 strings. It is tuned E to e. but with shorter intervals.
