Contemporary guitar making: A point of balance between craftsmanship, art, and acoustic science
Andre Instruments is by choice a one-person workshop, which allows me to personally take care of every detail of the guitar-making process. I perform every steps involved in creating your guitar: I am primarily looking for a strong end result, a real sensory impact in terms of visuals, sound, and playability.
You will probably notice that some of my instruments have more artistic attributes, while others are at first glance more traditional.
My work encompasses these two levels, and thus offers a wide range of possibilities:

Motivations
With every guitar order I receive, I work hard to create an instrument that connects with the individual, that is capable of inspiring; One that will age beautifully while structurally standing the test of time. Most of my clients will come to buy me a total of 3 guitars over time. This is exactly the type of positive indicator that I work for.
The guitar models featured below all started as simple ideas often contributed by clients, and were designed accordingly.

Acoustic instruments:
Acoustic instruments / Custom & One-offs: Multi-string guitar, round-body guitar, extended-body acoustic guitar, hand-carved acoustic guitar, or any otherwise highly expressif and/or very complex to make instrument design.
Cutaway, neck wings supports, art factor options, pickup options, special requests, and custom flight-case are all included.

Acoustic instruments / Archtop Guitars: Arched-top guitar or Bass guitar, hand-carved, with neck wings support.
Choice of f-holes or sound hole/ sound-port design. Pickup, color options, and hardshell case are all included.

Acoustic instruments / Acoustic Guitars: Flat-top Acoustic guitar or Bass guitar, with neck-wings supports.
Choice of sound hole/sound port configuration. Pickup options, cutaway option, and custom hardshell case are all included.

Electric instruments:
Electric instruments / Hollow-body electric guitars: Hollow-body Electric guitar or Bass guitar, carved-top and back responsive construction.
Choice of pickups and specs. Finish options and custom hardshell case are all included.

Electric instruments / Solid-body electric guitars: Solid-body Electric guitar or bass, carved-top included, except for JM7 multi-layer construction.
Choice of pickups and specs. Finish options, custom hardshell case or high-quality gig-bag, are all included.
