Red Cardi is based on - Projet Orange- which was completed in 2002, this in tandem with the now (almost famous) Zyra hollow-body guitar.

Fun fact is that a twin-set of the same silver maple used for -Orange- was still available at the supplier....now almost 20 years later:

-This wood is -vacuum dried- and shows absolutely no deflection upon re-sawing or carving. Its white/grey colour makes it also perfect for dye work.

Red Cardi is named after Roberto, who requested red and black as a visual basis for his instrument.

Other simple requirements are shorter scale (24.00"), slim neck, and a beautiful unplugged tone and volume.
